Wine Club Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Urban Connoisseurs Wine Club! Thank you for becoming a part of an experience like no other. To help you make the most of your membership and wine experience please take a moment to familiarize yourself with all of the club policies.
There is no additional fees outside of your quarterly or annual membership cost (shipping and tax included with VIP membership) to join the Urban Connoisseurs Wine Club and you can sign up anytime online, or send an email to [email protected]. As a member you agree to all terms and conditions of membership.
By becoming a member you verify that you or the recipient of the club membership is at least 21 years of age. You authorize Urban Connoisseurs to charge your credit card four times per year (March, June, September, December) or once annually.
Notifications
You will receive an email two weeks prior to each club shipment noting important dates and details of your shipment. It is the member’s responsibility to notify Urban Connoisseurs of any changes to credit card and billing/shipping address prior to the billing date noted in the email. Unfortunately we are unable to make any changes after billing.
Billing
The club releases will be charged to the credit card on file. It is your obligation to update your credit card information via email ([email protected]) or by phone (206-730-2096) prior to the billing date. In addition any address changes must be made at [email protected] at least 5 days prior to this billing. Urban Connoisseurs is not responsible for shipping charges incurred due to misdirected or returned shipments or changes made after the deadline. If a club shipment is returned for an incorrect address or three failed delivery attempts you will be responsible for the additional cost of reshipping or a restocking fee of $50.
Wine Club purchases, tax and shipping are non-refundable once they have been processed.
Shipping
We have negotiated the lowest shipping costs available and are pleased to pass the savings on to our members. Flat rate shipping charges for all club tiers are available for the contiguous United States. Due to federal law requiring all wine shipments to be accepted by a person at least 21 years of age, a business address may work best for some members. Shipments are handled by UPS and cannot be delivered to PO, FPO, APO or IPO boxes. Returned or refused shipments will incur additional fees.
We ship to the following states: AL*, AK**, AR***, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY***, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK**, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY. We can ship internationally. Please contact us at [email protected] to confirm your country is on our list. Additional international charges will apply.
* Alabama wines must be shipped to an ABC store. Please provide the name and address of the nearest ABC store to your residence.
**Alaska and Oklahoma shipments are available through cold truck shipping, and zip code must be on list - contact us for list.
*** Arizona and Kentucky shipments are only available through 1 or 2 day air.
Substitutions
Wines are pre-selected by the Urban Connoisseurs team and substitutions are not allowed. We understand that you may prefer certain wines over others; however we encourage you to experience all the carefully selected and reviewed wines you receive each quarter. If you have any questions regarding the selected wines in your shipment please contact us at [email protected] prior to your billing date.
Red wine selections may include rosé and sparkling rosé as an option. White wine selections may include sparkling wine as an option.
Cancellations
Requests to cancel your membership can be made at any time and within a 30-day advance written notice sent to [email protected]. If the 30-day cancellation period occurs during a scheduled club month (March, June, September, December), that shipment will be processed and shipped as your final. All wine purchases, tax and shipping are non-refundable after processing and early cancellations may result in a $50 cancellation fee.
